Cox Sports was present amongst the largest home crowd ever at Brewster Prep’s Smith Center in New Hampshire last weekend, when powerhouse Brewster (28-0) topped Tilton School, 60-56.
Florida State-bound Aaron Thomas led the Bobcats with 19 points, while unsigned forward JaKarr Sampson contributed 11 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Michigan-signee Mitch McGary chipped in with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Xavier-bound Semaj Christon had 7 assists.
For Tilton, Iowa State-bound Georges Niang had a game-high 32 points, while the consensus top ranked player in the nation, Nerlens Noel added 8 points, several blocked shots, and was responsible for at least a dozen more altered shots.
TIiton dropped to 24-4 on the year.
Both Sampson and Noel are being targeted by Providence College Coach Ed Cooley.
