PawSox’ Tazawa called-up to Boston

Pawtucket  Red Sox righthander Junichi Tazawa has been recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket and will be available in the Boston bullpen tonight.

Boston reliever Mark Melancon has been optioned to Pawtucket, Bobby Valentine announced today.

Earlier this month, Cox Sports spoke to Tazawa through his interpreter about his injuries, pitching style, and hopes to rejoin the parent team in Boston.
