Live Sports Action
Cox Sports is proud of our Emmy award-winning coverage of the very best college sports with live games involving Providence College, University of Rhode Island, University of Connecticut, and other local colleges in our Cox On Campus series.
Rhode Islanders rely on Cox for the opportunity to see their children performing in Rhode Island Interscholastic League games throughout the school year on our #GAMENIGHT and Varsity Zone broadcasts. Cox Sports is proud to honor these high school athletes every year as sponsor/producer of the Rhode Island Sports Awards.
Original Programming
Cox Sports produces a myriad of programs, from coaches shows to full documentaries. Content may range from roller derby to rolling pins; local basketball to local bistros.
Xposé, an eight show series produced in 2010, examined the folks on the frontlines, goal lines and side lines in local traditional and adventure sports throughout Rhode Island. Somehow, Someway: A Season with the URI Rams is a behind the scenes look at the URI basketball program.
In 2011-2012, Cox Sports will produce original programs on PC Friar basketball, high school sports, extreme sports, fishing and hunting, as well as “Rhode Island lifestyle” shows such as “Chef 2 Go.”

Production and Creative Services
Cox can offer production services and creative services for all of your needs. Whether it be coverage of a sporting event, a graduation or a corporate meeting, Cox has the expertise to make your video production a success.
Cox currently offers two production trucks, the Mercury and the Sprinter, as well as creative services, and a full service studio.
