  • The Labrie Twins Lead EWG To Place 3rd Place At NE Wrestling Championship

    The New England Wrestling Championship took place this past weekend at the Providence Career and Technical Academy. Exeter/West Greenwich senior Christian Labrie ended his high school career by taking his second straight New England title. His twin brother, Andrew took 3rd place in the 160 Lb. division leading the EWG to a 3rd place finish. Frank Carpano gives us the story.

    Bishop Hendricken Wins State Wrestling Title

    For the second year in a row, Bishop Hendricken walked away from the State Championship with the title, leaving Exeter/West Greenwich the runner up and finishing with a total of 221 points. The match of the night came from between Hendricken’s Dallas Sauer and Mount Hope’s Jared Sousa in which Sauer came away with the victory in overtime.
