OSN will air Bryant vs. Richmond in the College Basketball Invitational

Ocean State Networks (OSN, Cox channels 5 & 1005) will air the 2013 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) first round game between the Bryant University Bulldogs and the University of Richmond Spiders live at 7 pm on March 20. This matchup is being produced locally by Cox Sports; OSN regulars Eric Frede and Vin Parise will handle announcing duties for the game. Cox Sports will be sending the live feed to WTVR in Richmond. Host Steve McDonald welcomed Sean McGonagill, Tyler Ponticelli and Matt Sullivan of Brown who spoke about their team’s Ivy League Opener against Yale. The gentlemen were followed by Sheila Dixon, Lindsay Nickel and Caroline King of Brown’s Women’s basketball team who discussed their recent play as well as volunteering they have done.

No local college tean is having a better season than the Bryant Bulldogs, now 13-4 and on top of the NEC with a legitimate chance of participating in the NCAA tourney in March. Host Steve McDonald welcomed Bryant’s Frank Dobbs who spoke about hos team’s recent win over Wagner.
