    In a state championship game televised on OSN and streamed over coxsportsonline,  Mount St. Charles took command early,  skating to a 4-0 lead over Bishop Hendricken in the first period. The final score was 5-2  in the third game of their best-of-three state title series at Meehan Auditorium.     Among the awards presented at the March 26 Cox Sports media luncheon, CCRI’s men’s basketball team was presented the Dave Gavitt Award as team of the year.. Coach Rick Harris’ Knights compiled 31 wins and made it to  a national championship, eventually losing to  #1 Mott Community College of Flint, MI 70-60.
