Cox Sports – We’re home for Rhody
“The University of Rhode Island couldn’t be happier with the new partnership between CSTV and Cox Sports,” said URI Athletic Director Thorr Bjorn. “Cox has been a fantastic partner with URI for many years and with CSTV’s commitment with the Atlantic 10 Conference, this becomes a perfect platform for URI sports broadcasts. The CSTV and Cox relationship is going to provide our fans with the type of coverage they have come to appreciate.”
The partnership also provides Cox Sports with exclusive rights to up to 20 URI sports events in men’s and women’s basketball, and Olympic sports contests. Additionally, Cox will receive exclusive market access to all men’s basketball games from CSTV’s Atlantic 10 men’s basketball syndication package. This season marks the second year of CSTV’s long term multi-media rights partnership with the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Cox Sports will follow new Rams Coach Dan Hurley from early October practice drills right through March Madness. Each year, Cox Sports delivers the best Atlantic 10 match-ups from our broadcasts from the Ryan Center. And when the Rams have gone to the post-season tournaments, we’ve brought those games in the living rooms across the state.
