Billy Baron’s amazing buzzer-beater… NOT

After Marvin Johnson gave Niagara the lead with seconds left, Billy Baron hit a tough 3-pointer on the run for what looked to be the game-winner. But after official review, the shot had not left Baron’s fingers in time and was waived off.

Baron, the former Rhody guard and son of former URI Coach Jim Baron,  is averaging 16.0 points for Canisius, who are 13-8 .
