Cox Providence Rhode Races

Five thousand runners, many more thousands of spectators and hundreds of volunteers participated in the annual Cox Providence Rhode Races in downtown Providence. Runners represented 40 states and 5 countries, all helping to support local charities including Cox Charities and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society TNT.

Cox RI Sports Awards

The top high school athletes from across the state were honored once again at Cox Sports RI Sports Awards at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Awards were presented for top athlete in both boys and girls sports for all interscholastic sports. Scott Cordischi and Frank Carpano serves as hosts and NHL legend Bobby Orr was on hand for photo-ops with the athletes. | More about The RI Sports Awards
