Cox Sports offers streaming “live” video of PC Friar hockey, URI Rams basketball, and RIIL Boys and Girls championships

In 2011 Cox Sports launched of a new subscription service that allows fans to stream online live URI basketball, Providence College ice hockey, as well as the Rhode Island Interscholastic League’s basketball and hockey championships via Go.CoxSportsOnline.com

“As the exclusive provider of live local sports coverage, we are excited to expand our coverage with more games and more ways to watch,” said Paul Cronin, senior vice president and general manager, Cox New England. “Cox Sports Online gives fans, no matter where they live, an opportunity to watch.”

There are two subscription options: A monthly subscription is available for $10 per month; and a seasonal subscription (from now through March) is available for $36. Subscription service and technical support will be managed by NeuLion, an IPTV provider. ”
